Celebrated a Funeral Today…

Please pray for Mary (Hastings) and Dusty Myers, for their son Jacob, and for the repose of the soul of little Amiee Nicole Myers, born on the Feast of St. James, July 25, 2009, and born to eternal life on July 27, 2009, after 43 special hours of life with her family.

I can only stand in awe of the courage and compassion you showed at that funeral. We were blessed that day to be in the presence of Our Lord, and his examples of the courage of great souls like you, Dusty and Mary. Your daughters serving on the altar were also a wonderful example of compassion and “Doing what you can.” Thank you for the lessons I am still learning from this.
